I Present to you:

My minecraft 360 world that I’ve worked on for the last year and some change. It may not be the best but I enjoy working on it everyday.

This is where it all started last year. It started as a small cobblestone shack and wound up being, what I thought at the time, a pretty bad ass castle. All it took was this small creation and I’ve been hooked ever since. From here i pushed on to the the next…

This is Castle Greeny. Nearly twice the size of the first one and wound up taking roughly 2 or 3 months of work to finish and flesh out the interior and surrounding village. I felt pretty good about this one but still felt I had just scratched the surface of what I could build. So I continued to build…

This is my 3rd attempt. I never really had a name for it other than The Stoner. I’m not sure what the theme was supposed to be other than “hey this looks pretty cool out on the water”. You can see the throne room to the right and a glass underwater tunnel I did on the left a bit. Its needless to say I died a bunch building that tunnel as this was pre-creative mode times.

About the time I finished this, I started thinking much bigger in terms of builds and focusing on more details. What came next is a project that ate up nearly 7 months. I decided to take pics as the build moved along. probably 60% of it was done before creative mode. So it moved painstakingly slow at times and thankfully much faster as it came to a close.

Fully Functional Lighthouse

Here you can see a bit of my 50,000 block glass ceiling as it sits now. It’s not nearly done. The total Ive done across the world is about 96,000 blocks of glass.

Working On Some Changes

For the handful of you that have stuck around with us thus far….we are eternally grateful.

We know we’ve not posted a whole lot lately but we are attempting to get back into things.  We’ve had a period of continual chaos but that appears to be on its way to being more easily managed.

Also, as soon as we work out some minor issues, expect a handful of minor changes to this blog as well.

Another One Falls From the Video Game Bucket List

A little while back I posted the list of games I own that I have yet to beat.

Just now one of those games has fallen from the list.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, just finished it after playing it on and off for over a year.

While it certainly wasn’t Skyrim it was fun but man did it have an unsatisfying ending, everything from the final lead up to the big bad’s fortress to the ending cinematic fell flat on its face for me.

Hell the only thing that I really enjoyed was the reveal of the true antagonist and even that was followed up by a boss fight that reminded me a lot of the final battle in Dead Space 3 but not nearly as fun.

At any rate the list of games I own that I have yet to beat now looks like this:
